The Fosston Area Community Fund invests resources, creates opportunities and promotes charitable giving to make the community a better place to live and work.
The fund was formed to ensure that the next generation can continue to enjoy the great quality of life and the exceptional quality of place that past and present residents have experienced.
Grants will be awarded to support community and charitable activities within the Fosston Area including:
- education and lifelong learning
- art and culture
- health and wellness
- parks and recreation

Fosston Area Community Fund
Supports charitable, educational and public purpose projects that will enhance or improve the quality of life for residents and/or visitors of the Fosston area
Arvid Clementson Veterans' Memorial Fund
Supports programs, projects and activities that recognize the contributions of Fosston-area United States Armed Forces personnel
East Polk Heritage Center Fund
Supports programs, projects and activities associated with the mission of the East Polk Heritage Center
First Care Fosston Area Fund
Supports health care programs, activiities, projects and services benefiting residents and visitors to Fosston and the First Care Medical Center
Fosston 21st Century Endowment and Project Fund
Supports the Fosston Community Library Arts Association in Fosston, and advances cultural, social, and civic interests.
Fosston Inspiration Trail Fund
Supports the development, maintenance and improvements to the Inspiration Trail
Fosston Education Foundation
Supports the students, staff, educational programs, and institutions in Fosston
Dean Clementson Scholarship Fund
Supports Fosston High School students entering into public service careers
LuVerne Trogstad Education and Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to students and faculty from Fosston High School
Dean & Joyce McNelly Vocational Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to Fosston High School students who attended a vocational class and graduated, or earned a high school equivalency diploma
Jim Miller Memorial Math Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to Fosston High School students pursuing education in mathematics
Fosston Livestock Shipping Association Animal Science Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to Fosston High School students pursuing education in Animal Science
Cameron Badurek Peace Award Fund
To provide annual funding for the "Cameron Badurek Peace Award" given in Cam's memory and a scholarship; and, to provide funding for "Cam's Legacy," a community grant program benefiting charitable, educational, and community programs, projects and activities that improve life in the Fosston area.
Terry Stout Memorial Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to Fosston High School students pursing a degree or licensure for teaching social sciences or English.
Vikan Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to Fosston High School students pursuing higher education in the field of music.
