The Roseau Area Community Fund was established in 1996 as the Roseau Community and Education Fund.
The 2002 flood demonstrated the importance of the Roseau Community and Education Fund and led directly to the amendment of its purpose to include serving as a catalyst for stimulating projects that improve the quality of life in the community and help achieve Roseau’s vision for its future.
FUNDS:
Roseau Area Community & Education Fund
Supports activities, projects or services that will enhance cultural, educational and recreational opportunities in the Roseau area.
A. J. and Eleanor Kramer Scholarship Fund
Provides funding for scholarships to students from Roseau High School who are juniors or seniors in a college program for teaching health or physical education and/or are earning coaching certificates or English majors
Four Seasons Senior Center Endowment and Project Fund
Supports the nutrition and educational programs to senior citizens in the Roseau community
Joseph Schneider Memorial Scholarship
Supports scholarships to students from Roseau High School
Karlsson Family Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships for graduates of ISD #682 who are majoring in math or science or majoring in fine, visual or graphic arts at a college or university.
Malung PTO Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to qualified high school students from Roseau (District # 682), who attended Malung Elementary School.
Marian Foley Memorial Fund
Supports scholarships to students from Roseau High School
Marvin LaRue Memorial Fund
Supports scholarships to students from Roseau High School
Roseau Adult Education Fund
Provides financial support to Roseau residents for pursuit of post-secondary education degrees and community education for skills training or enhancement
Roseau Area Friends of the Library Fund
Supports programs, projects, and activities benefiting the Roseau Area Public Library and the Roseau Area Friends of the Library
Roseau Lions Club Scholarship Fund
Supports scholarships to high school students from ISD #682 (Roseau), for tuition and books or direct educational material expenses
Roseau Parks & Recreation Fund
Supports parks, trails, and recreation in the Roseau area
Wannaska PTO Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to students who attended Wannaska Elementary and are pursuing a post secondary education.
