Component Fund Grants

Component Funds established and administered by the foundation help individual donors, groups and families act on deeply held values and community commitments. They typically benefit a specific nonprofit community organization or interest area. Assets are managed by the foundation and staff provides support for the important work of building asset bases. This helps further the fund’s missions and ensures that they operate with continued success.

Many of NMF’s funds recommend grants for projects, programs or activities that support their respective missions. Usually, the purposes of fund disbursements are pre-determined by the donor, agency or nonprofit that established the fund. In some cases, the funds’ advisory committee considers proposals for funding.

Please visit the Designated Component Funds pages and the Community Funds and Component Fund Web Sites for more information.
