Leadership Development

The foundation has promoted regional leadership and employee development through workshops and other training almost since its inception in 1986.

LeaderImpact was born out of the foundation's desire to create the best adult leadership program for the world and to enhance its vision of Quality of Place in Northwest Minnesota. The cutting edge curriculum design was driven by comments from participants in the long-standing NMF Leadership Development program.

Students Teaching Attitudes of Respect (STAR) is a youth leadership program designed to increase awareness for students in the areas of community building, media, specific skills needed to deal with conflict, and the utilization of personal power and strengths.
