The Warroad Area Community Fund is inviting area non-profits to submit a request for funding proposals for programs and services that enhance the quality of life enjoyed by the people in the Warroad Area.
Typically, grants awarded to nonprofit organizations average $1,500 per eligible project and must address one or more of these areas: Arts, Culture and Education, Beautification, Community Service, Economic Development, Tourism and Youth Activities.
Selection criteria will focus on how the project meets the Warroad Area Community Fund’s mission of responding to changing needs in the community, how inclusive it is to all types of diversity, the number of participants or number of organizations that are served, and the sustainability of its benefits to the community.
Priority will be given to requests that address arts, culture and education, beautification, community service, economic development, tourism, and youth.
The deadline for submission of proposals is April 27, 2018. The grants will be awarded by June 15, 2018. Applications will be available at Security State Bank, Warroad City Office and Discovery and Development Hub or online at nwmf.org on the Warroad Area Community Fund page.
