Northwest Minnesota Women's Fund Seeks Outstanding "Community Builders"
Each year, the Northwest Minnesota Women's Fund recognizes women who have demonstrated leadership for improving the quality of their own life or those around them. In our increasingly complex society, the Women's Fund seeks to applaud the efforts of the women who have made northwest Minnesota a better place to live, work, raise families and have fun.
The Women's Fund is asking for your assistance in recognizing these women. Nomination forms are available at the Northwest Minnesota Foundation office by calling 1-800-659-7859.
Nominations will be accepted annually. The deadline for new nominations is the first Monday in May.

NORTHWEST MINNESOTA WOMEN'S FUND NAMES 2006 COMMUNITY BUILDERS
Now in its ninth year, three women were selected as Outstanding Community Builders in 2006. They are Bonnie Holmquist of Crookston, Lu Ann Hurd-Lof of Park Rapids, and Joyce Magner of Newfolden. People residing in the region nominated these women because of the impact of their lives and significant differences they have made in improving their communities as volunteers, mentors, in their chosen professions, and raising or supporting families.
