Ginny Kruger is the director of development for North Valley Health Center, serves on the board of the North Dakota Association of Fund Raising Professionals, is an inspirational speaker and writer, and works in a variety of ways to improve her community.
Vicki Svedarsky, advisory committee vice-chair, served as the host for the reception along with Lisa Peterson, Women's Fund coordinator and communications director for the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. Svedarsky spoke to the group about the role of the Women's Fund in the region and the importance of continued support by donors.
Denise Laymon, Kruger's nominator, talked about her influence as a mentor and the contributions she has made to her community. She stated that Kruger provided visionary and committed leadership in developing an understanding of good ethics and philanthropy through her work in fund raising with North Valley Health Center and in the Association of Fundraising Professionals
Kruger has taught high school, designed a national pilot project for conservation, directed the Rural Healthcare in Transition and development program for North Valley Health Center, been a media spokesperson for agricultural commodities, and continues to teach and consult on fund raising. An award winning non-profit advocate and fundraiser, Ginny writes and speaks from her farm home in the Warren area. Her book "Life Answers," has been published and enjoyed by many.
