The year that will be known for the COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant unrest to small business owners.
4 in 5 small business owners said COVID-19 had a negative impact on their mental health.
Of those, a quarter say their mental health is in a ‘bad’ place.

We want to help.

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation and Northwest Small Business Development Center want to help support and strengthen the well-being of the small business owners throughout Northwest Minnesota.
To that end, we have partnered with experts throughout the region
to share videos highlighting wellness tips and approaches to prioritize self-care.

About This Series

This six-part video series was paid for, in part, through the CARES Act, with the goal of supporting small business owners through difficult times and encouraging them to embrace efforts toward greater self-care and wellness.

As mental health is becoming more prominent in health care discussions, there remain significant numbers of people reluctant to discuss the subject. For the self-employed, and small business owners, this can directly affect their work and ability to maintain their business.

Our hope is that providing these videos will offer a way for small business owners to explore new avenues toward wellness while also respecting their privacy.
